Anyone have word on backordered Edwards store items?

I ordered some Edwards stickers over a week ago and just received a note in the mail listing the items and noting they are on backorder, but last Friday I received an e-mail confirmation that they all shipped. A little confusing. Does anyone have any idea when they expect to have these items in stock being that the CA Primary is just a week away?

4. I was wondering also

Ordered shirt and car magnet on the last big fundraising day. Was hoping to get them before the primary on the 5th. Hadn't heard anything about them being back ordered, but sounds like that must be the hold up.

5. I'm wondering where my stuff is, too.

I placed an order on the 14th. I got an email on the 21st saying it had been shipped, and that's the last I've heard. I paid for Priority Mail, too. It should have been here in 3 days, and it's been a week now. I had wanted these things before Super Tuesday--which is why I paid for Priority Mail. I'm disappointed. I wonder if the campaign knows that their store is bungling things up? It's not going to do me much good to get the things I ordered after the primary here is all over with. It's not John's fault, but it sure isn't helping his chances if those who WANT to show support for him can't get their hands on the tools they need to do so. I sure wish I had a sign in my window and a pin to wear!

8. Well, ironically

when I got home from work today, my T shirt and bumper sticker had arrived. There was a note inside, saying that the car magnet was back ordered, and no estimate of an ETA. At least I can get the bumper sticker on before the primary.

I ordered a shirt, bumper sticker and a rally sign about a week and a half ago, and the order is still processing ... ? I was hoping to get this stuff before Super Tuesday so I can use them while I poll stand.

10. I received a reply to my e-mail to the Edwards Store

Due to unexpected thousands of orders coming in for Edwards merchandise I have had to add new employees to ship both orders and backorders. I ask for your indulgence and patience. Please accept my apologies for the delay in shipping the order. I will forward this to the warehouse for their response to you.

Wow, that's great news to hear that they have received such an overwhelming response. What the hell, if I don't get them in time for the CA primary, I'll just ship them to DUers having primaries a little later!

16. I ordered 2 buttons and paid almost $30 for overnight delivery on Jan. 15.

Early Jan. 18 I e-mailed them to cancel the order which had not yet arrived. My wife and I were leaving for Vegas that Friday for the caucuses and wanted to wear our Edwards buttons that weekend.

I received an e-mail on Jan. 21 (MLK holiday) saying the order was being shipped.

Haven't heard peep from them since, and the order still hasn't arrived.

Now I guess I'll never receive the order, and I'll never get my money back. Apparently, they've been overwhelmed and understaffed.

So I'm just going to count the credit card charge as a campaign contribution.
