Do you realize how many homes could have been built or mortgages paid with the $250 million tht both
HRC and 0 spent on a campaign?

or how many people could have been fed?

or how many people could go to school?

The system is broken. And changes need to be made startiong with not paying

tv stations for election advertising.

Adhering to campaigning with govt funds.

doing asway with the electoral college and super delegates

re-instating the anti monopoly laws

fairness in reporting act

reinstating the FDA

re-instating Consumer protection

re-instating FC rules

notice this all has to do with corporations running over govt agencies?

1. Yes, it's shameful, disgusting, and disgraceful.
We have veterans living under bridges while millions is spent campaigning. Millions to put Dr. Obama's Traveling Salvation Show on the road, with a wagon full of empty promises, tonics that won't work and a platitude for every situation.

This country is totally screwed up, our priorities are out of whack, and now the best candidate to fix these things is out of the race.

Hope? Sorry, I don't have much for the future of America.

Change? New carpet and drapes, but the structure beneath them will be the same.

Big business in their greed gave people home loans that they shouldn't have. And now that they are raising interest and payments, the people who could never afford their homes are not paying because they can't afford their homes. And these companies want to be bailed out. They were irresponsible, they created the problem, and now they want a hand out.

Forget the homeless who served their country. Forget the millions without medical care. Forget the pain and suffering and loss of an illegal and immoral war. Let's help the mortgage and banking industry! Subsidize them! Just like we do the oil companies who are raking in billions in profits!

This is beyond pathetic.

Anyone serious about change is not supporting Clinton or Obama. And they sure as hell aren't supporting the GOP.

You are so right, kelli. Your list is a good place to start in fixing this country, it's just going to take someone with vision and a spine to do it...and last I checked, he's not running. :(

2. True Andy, John is not here - media did it to him - but we are here with his principles

If move - on could start up and gain 3 million members over time (but they are DLC's arm for sure) there's no reason why another group couldn't start - based on
John's platform and gain the power of numbers to pressure whoever is in the white house and congress.--

In my mind the organized pressure has to be at the media - and how do you get to the media - Money. Money talks. NOt our money. Their money. You write the media that unless they change their ways, your tuning them out - you write their sponsors or gather petition to the sponsors, telling them that because of that particular media stations refusal to provide unbiased and full and truthful
reporting of the facts you are asking them to withdraw their advertising to that station or you and your 100 million members will have to stop buying their product? Dear Sirs, will you agree to stop advertising there until MSNBC/CNN etc
change their ways?

MONEY. Money and the bottom line is what the corporations all understand. Hit them in the pocketbook and with sufficient numbers you get results.Tweety closed out John Edwards - go after his sponsors. Tweety doesnt have high ratings anyway - CNN - big company - get to them through canceling Aol, Time Warner publications, publications, movies whatever....but they have to realize that the public means business and wants a free and truthful press.

For another year we can do nothing about the FCC that allowed the monopoly of 5 companies owning all newspapers, tv stations, radio stations. Hopefully with any new reasonable administration, we can hit them to restore anti-monopoly laws.

These are my ideas but It;'s a start. And Align yourself with either political party and you've lost before you ever began.
