Yolanda King has passed away at 51
http://www.wsbtv.com/news/13328593/detail.html

The oldest child of civil rights leader the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. has died.

A spokesman for the King Center -- Steve Klein -- says Yolanda Denise King died last night in Santa Monica, California. She was 51.

In the rancor on the general boards of Jerry Falwell's death, I know that this will drop like a rock. She should be acknowledged, so, I posted it here.

1. Oh no...
 ...thanks for posting about this. You're right, it would probably sink like a stone all things considered at the moment. :(

She was a good soul, so true to her parent's legacy. May she rest in peace...

2. She will be greatly missed for all of her good works.
Like me, she was also a devotee of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), and visited her ashram in India several times. I'm so very sorry to hear of her very premature passing.

RIP, Ms. King.

...I read this about her, when she was featured in Science of Mind magazine(metaphysical studies journal, not to be confused with scientology). :hi:

3. RIP Yolanda
Andrew Young was on the radio and was talking about the history of heart disease in her family. There were a couple of her relatives who also died at an early age because of heart disease. He was also saying that many people have no idea that the amount of stress she lived with from a little girl when her home was bombed when she was in it to all the other issues she's had to confront. He believes that that lifetime of stress contributed to her early death.
