Anybody think we should be more concerned with Pakistan than Afghanistan?
After all, Pakistan:
1.is a very disorganized, factionalized country with some very radical quasi-military groups, and

2.has nuclear weapons.

Thoughts on this?

1. Obama and his administration all share that opinion

However, they also think that events in Afghanistan affect Pakistan - which of course they do

2. I think we should be concerned about ourselves, and our apparent psychosis
that leads us to believe that we have the right to invade whomever we feel threatened by.

3. al-Qaeda is more than just a threat
That said, we should definitely focus on Pakistan. One big difference between Iraq and Afghanistan is that prior to our arrival there was an extreme minority of the aformentioned, not true in Afghanistan. you may disagree that a war should be fought, but there is a war. I feel it is naive to think that allowing parts of Africa and Pakistan to devolve will not cause bigger problems down the road.
