Vet hiring - every vet hired if WPA revived..EVERY vet and..EVERY civilian too!
Edited on Mon Nov-07-11 12:34 PM by sam11111
We have waited too long for the Private Sector to do this. They never will hire all...they NEVER have. Joblessness drives wages down so they WANT joblessness. Sweden kept unemployment belo one% most of '60 to '90.

See my sig below for more...Current shortage of jobs data there

Refutes "get a job" taunt from GOP.

1. WPA would be the answer to unemployment
but we all know that the repukes would never vote for it. They don't give a damn about the American people. A bunch of selfish bastids. (and Ben Nelson and Lieberman, too!)

3. My father was a WWI Vet who worked for the WPA - It worked for so many then and it would work now!
It makes one wonder why the JOBS Bill or some other Bill has not been passed but we know the reason is the GOP is only after ONE job and this is President Obama's. It is truly something that history will look back on with disgust and wonderment.

5. Sign petition to Obama to revive the WPA .
Sign this petition to the government to revive the WPA .

At least get them to start talking about it.

There is a petition on the Whitehouse petition site.
shortlink - http://wh.gov/jja

long link - https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions/%21/petition/create-millions-jobs-re-establishing-works-progress-administration-wpa/lsN8cM5V?utm_source=wh.gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturl

If a petition on there gets 25 thousand signatures in 30 days, the Whitehouse will have to respond.
