Suicide twins Kristin and Candice Hermeler had God Delusion in their luggage
So goes the headline at Murdoch's online rag. I guess there wasn't a Gideon's in their hotel room or his crack investigative team would've reported it. Right?

The young ladies weren't metalheads, so... it was Dawkins whut killed them. The murderous bastard.

2. I blame Julio, Kenny and Ka$$-ha.
Good thing they had the Dawkins book. Otherwise Wiccans would be getting blamed because of the Stevie Nicks connection.

Hey Charlie! Good to see you back. Seems like you weren't around for a while.

6. Hey, you!
Thanks! I caught a whopping case of the winter crud, so looking at a PC screen has been like staring into a blast furnace. I've been soothing my eyeballs with a print edition of Carl Zimmer's magnificent horrorshow, Parasite Rex, which should be beamed into every woo/creationist's living space 1984-style. If they're going to carry on with their Loving God/Universe glurges, they need a good look at what a wicked shit the Designer is.

3. More likely it was the Christopher Cross . . .
but why focus on Dawkins' book when they also had a healthy handful of "confused, deluded, and trying to make sense of of life by reading crap self-help" books?

5. It seems that they had several self-help books...
which in hindsight could indicate that they were depressed and looking for a solution. Though of course many people read such books, who are not mentally unwell or suicidal at all.

'Looking for meaning' - such a vague phrase, and trivializes the real problems of those so depressed as to contemplate suicide.

And of course Dawkins is hardly relevant here. What a disgusting sensationalist headline.
