Doesn't look like this group gets much traffic, but let's have a bash at this anyway.
Could people please list here their favorite, most awesome, most impressive, most used, etc. resources for starting your own business? Websites, books, agencies, etc. all welcome. Planning tools, guides for newbies navigating the permitting maze, financing how-tos, all welcome.
Anybody?

yes I took the tax hit. Funny enough I pulled all the money out just before the bubble burst in 2000. As it turned out I would have lost half of it anyway so I lucked out, in a sense. I am currently self-financing my company growth from company profits. Translation - I haven't given myself a raise in 4 years. It is a slow process but the upside is I control everything.
