Poll question: Fifth Season for Enterprise?
Were going to have two questions, one do you now want a 5th season, and did you want a 4th season about this time last year? (In order to gage the opinion of improvement or lack thereof). Answer Yes/Maybe/No in that order:

(I voted yes/yes, in spite of the flaws with the show, it has grown on me since season 3... now had I been asked this during season 2... Ida said something else.)

Not applicable in that I did not watch until the very end of the last season, when I became hopelessly hooked.

It would be a considerable loss to the genre to have ST Ent cancel. The show is in a unique position to build upon information in the original series. Many have criticized the series as relying too much on ST TOS. They fail to realize that the show must deal with TOS canon, and that is not a failing, but a strength. I am thrilled to have another look at Andorians, Tellarites, and those lovely green Orian slave women. ST TNG shied away from TOS plots, the goal was to make a new series, free from the restraints of the past. ST Ent could be written with this restraint, but it would a much weaker series. As for overt violations of canon, I agree, I find this troubling. However, the episodes of ST Ent I have viewed have been pretty consistent.

2. Yes / Maybe
The last 3 seasons of Enterprise had something in common for me. I'd see the previews that the new season was starting. I'd be excited. I'd watch the first 3-4 episodes. I'd start losing intrest. I'd forget what time it was on. I'd do something else. Rinse. Repeat.

If you had asked me after last season whether it should come back I would have shrugged my shoulders and said something like 'I guess so.' Now I feel different. The show has really grabbed me this season. Now that we're into the 3rd three parter I really feel them developing the show more and more. The three parters really seem to keep an overall storyline flowing, while the individual episodes give us character development breaks. Sort of like a comic book.
