Battlestar Galactica Spoiler - Do Not Enter If You Don't Want To Know
Spoiler

The 10th episode will feature the return of the Battlestar Pegasus which will supposedly stick around for awhile, commanded by Admiral Cain played by Michelle Forbes aka Ensign Ro from STTNG.

1. Yummy!
I liked Ensign Ro a lot, and it is nice to see Michelle Forbes back on TV. Now if we could get Nana Visitor as well...

I like strong women characters.

<May be spoiler for some>

I read that Cain will assume command of the RTF and that will cause heartburn to the President, Adama and crew. I hope that this story arc can be expanded to a bit more than just 2 eps. However, I realize that this is BSG and not BSG+P. This plot move will give an "out" for a variety of resource issues. Plus, I'm looking forward to seeing how the Pegasus story will play put in TNS vs. TOS. :D

I hope that the Pegasus will survive somehow as it exits the story line, you know?

3. Even Bigger Spoiler
From what I've read...the Pegasus is sticking around for awhile...the CREW of the Pegasus? Not so much.

What does that mean? I don't know. Maybe the majority of their crew is killed somehow but the ship remains intact and salvagable? Maybe they are a fake crew of Cylons trying to infiltrate the fleet and they discover it? Maybe there are only a few on that ship in the first place..maybe maybe maybe.

But from what I've read...Admiral Cain and her crew aren't sticking around forever..but the ship will be there longer than them. So the Galactica will have a second battlestar at their command for defense.

I'm down with that.

4. do they have enough crew for another battlestar?
that is my question... they already seem to be running short of pilots.

5. I don't know...but
did you notice during the opening credits now it says 47,815 people looking for a new home? One person got killed in the first episode of the season. Episode 2 the credits read 47,814 people looking for a new home.

Given the cylon boarding of galactica last week....I'm curious to see how many died and what the number is at now. I think it's a nice touch.

7. I wonder if they'll ever pick up more humans
along the way. In the original series they ran into many human worlds and I always wondered why they didn't either stop there or pick up more people as they escaped the Cylon area of influence.

8. I'm guessing they will find more humans
either pirate types that are like Han Solos patrolling the outer rims, or maybe some people from Kobol that found another planet on the way to Earth... or, some cult-types that left to find Earth decades ago during the first cylon war maybe? who knows, those just popped into my head.

6. That's a shame.
This cannabilization of cast members from other sci-fi shows is ruining the genre. Just look at Stargate.
