1. It was the Managerie and I was around nine or 10...
My mom almost changed the channel because everytime the Talosian characters would turn around my younger brother and I would break out in laughter because the backs of their heads looked like butts!

Thankfully we were able to bring ourselves under control and the rest as they say is history.......

2. It was an OS episode, where there was this being that would suck the salt
from people's bodies and kill them. It was disguised as a woman and then it would turn into an ugly green creature.

11. That's "Man Trap"
The first I remember is "Shore Leave". I'm a McCoy/De Kelley fan and my young heart was broken when he turned up at the end with a showgirl on each arm.

3. Tholian Web
I was about 7 or 8 and I rememeber some of the strange images from that episode as it originally aired on NBC.

Wasn't until the 70's that I got to see most of the show. By then I had read all of the James Blish editied book adaptation story collections.

5. It was TOS. I think the episode was "The Changeling" (The one with Nomad )
I might be wrong, because i was so young when i started watching Trek.

6. Trouble with Tribbles...
I was 11 or 12. Was totally hooked from that point on. 'Trouble' remains one of my most favorite eps.

8. "The Big Goodbye" TNG.
I saw it. Though, if you are going to include movies, the first thing Star Trek I ever saw was Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

12. The Original Series
That's all I can say for certain, because I was watching it when all that existed was reruns of TOS.

No way I can remember the first episode, I have an image of Spock in the transporter room but that could be almost any episode.

13. I used to be able to name titles
of every episode. I *think* it was called "Where No Man Has Gone Before" with Gary Lockwood and Sally Kellerman.

14. 'Tomorrow is Yesterday'? The one where Kirk, Spock, and Diana Muldar get
taken over by big glowing balls. :eyes:

Oddly enough, I got hooked. Mostly for the character interplay, which readily surpasses the silliness of some of the sci-fi concepts (which is why TOS hasn't dated as badly as many TNG and later stories, despite being better produced. When the most human character in TNG is Data, you know it's not going to hold up as well 15 years later!)

16. Oh, and when it was 1st broadcast, too. Yeah, I'm that old.

I'd been thinking about these episodes, and realized that this one was actually 1st for me. Not "The Tholian Web" one.
