Just another reason to hate Wesley Crusher
Edited on Sat Dec-24-05 01:17 AM by FM Arouet666

I think it's cute, I might have liked Wil Wheaton's character more had he worn this little number. ;) Did anyone like Wesley?

On edit, I went to Wheaton's web site to see if this was a real pic, couldn't find it. But I did discover that he is a liberal and a war protester. So, Shut up Wesley, but keep up the good work Wil. ;)

1. Wil is actually a pretty cool guy
Nowadays anyways. If you poke around on his blog (wilwheaton.net, which he broke a couple months ago, a fact I find so ironic considering his ST:TNG character) from when he started it, you'll see some posts talking about how he underwent a transformation. Did he find Jesus? No, not that I know of. Something much better. A girl he really loved dumped him and it was at that point he discovered he was an asshole. So he decided to change.

2. Wil Wheaton rocks

His blog is one of my favorites. I wish to Gawd he'd stop talking about poker, but other than that he's a very talented and entertaining writer.

3. I didn't hate him, but I must plead extenuating circumstances.
Like being a very young teenager when TNG was on, and a geek girl, and not having a lot of available geek role models.

I love his site, and while the gambling obsession is getting old, (Hey, Wil - you may have a problem....) the rest of him is pretty great.

4. Little Opie Crusher was kind of an annoyance...
...and used as little more than a plot device. In a few later episodes, he was a cool character. Just underused.

And Wheaton himself is ultra-cool.

5. Yeah, Wheaton's all right
...and this coming from a guy who cheered when Wesley got skewered with a bayonette.

Actually, Wesley could have been a decent character, but he was sooooo horribly misused.
