Ledger To Play Batman's Joker?

Latino Review is reporting a rumor that Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger is being offered the coveted role of the Joker in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel film.

"We just got word from a very trusted source that the offer last night was officially made to Heath Ledger to star as the Joker in the Batman Begins sequel," the site reported.

The movie will reportedly reintroduce the Caped Crusader's most famous nemesis

He's a good actor though, so he may pull it off.

2. Myself:
I'm kinda hoping for a long shot: Mark Hamill, just because he has the voice and character of the Joker nailed so well in his work in Batman: The Animated Series. Of course this isn't going to happen...

3. He did great...
I saw a clip of him doing Joker and his expressions were very Joker like. He would have done great.

Heath's a good actor so he could pull it off.

But no one can touch Jack Nicholson's portrayal, IMO.

4. I think Heath will do fine
I was pulling for Ed Norton though....but I'm sure Heath can do a decent job. With Nolan in control of the movie, plus, with Heath being the Joker, I imagine Nolan is going to make Joker be able to be physical with Batman. Nicholson's Joker was good, but I thought it was weak, that they didn't let the Joker punked physically...especially when he punched Batman and hurt his hand/wrist....it was a shame.
