CNN: Star Trek: The New Voyages

Just saw this piece on CNN Headline News's entertainment report earlier today... which led to a quick Google search... which led to http://www.newvoyages.com.

Some of these folks' work is... well, a touch on the amateurish side. On the other hand, a lot of the TOS episodes were beyond lame... and these seemed to have some really cool stuff in 'em. (Thought the Daedalus-class starship was pretty neat, for instance.)

I was actually pretty impressed with what I saw, in the trailers I downloaded. I mean, they actually got me interested enough to download the first episode, and when I get a chance later, I'll probably DL the DVD ISO.
