I like the show and it is only getting better, I just watched the last 3 episodes and I must say they are doing a fine job.

This time around however, the "Vs" are much more calculating and Anne is very manipulative whereas Dianne was very aggressive. The last shot on Episode 4 (spoiler, sorry) they pan out, all the way out to their home world, what is in orbit around the planet? A massive armada of motherships...They are going to invade and I can't wait!

Wash would get a break for once and not get killed off! ;)

2. Rewind it. They weren't motherships.

They were war ships. I had to flip back a few times to make out the spires on the sides. They're hidden by those retractable hulls.

3. In the pilot, the Visitors admitted they invaded Earth decades ago...

despite the big mothership song and dance.

The humans were too stupid to put 1 and 1 together about the sole remaining terrorist cell activity that remained when the motherships arrived...

The Visitors have a small sphere that shoots out a volley of needles and it's a short supply, and when that runs out, in come the troops with swords because, as every non-mothership effect reveals, the show has no budget and to try to make the new visitors come across even remotely formidable is a no-no.

Indeed, Anna in the pilot openly says they have come to borrow some water. (Gee, the original knew when to hide the motives and when to reveal them.)

I could go on forever, except it's sufficient to say it's very poorly written.

Almost didn't tune in at all because I hated the original. Anne is a brilliant choice for Mother.

5. I Was Enjoying This Up To The Hiatus.

After watching D9 last night I don't think I'll be tuning in for the final episodes. It just so ruined V for me.
