Riverworld: the Series

Back when SciFi did the Riverworld movie in 2003, I thought it would have great potential for a weekly series.

1. But it was a crappy mini-series.

If they do, let's hope they start from scratch.

I'd call it a reboot, but it was just one movie.

4. But Isn't there a current one coming?

I thought that there was a more current one on the horizon. I don't know when or how it's coming out. I'll only see it after it hit's netflix or hulu?

5. The new one was okay

although the plot changes were odd. Perhaps those were intended to provide material for a weekly series. I'd watch it if that happened.

The ratings on the new one were very good. From what I've read recently, the same was true of the old miniseries, but it didn't become a weekly series in spite of that.
