Jerry Orbach on GW
There was a tribute to Jerry Orbach in NYC last night. Found out he wrote a poem a day to his wife, Elaine. Some of them were read, and I wanted to share this one with you. (For those who don't know, Mr. Orbach played Lennie Brisco on Law & Order like forever):

A dark and rainy Monday
It looks like darkest night.
But I don't mind the darkness
Our kitchen's nice and bright.
We'll paint another color, too,
So please don't let that trouble ya'
The thing we have to suffer through
Is four years of George W.

1. A fabulous actor..
multi-talented enough to have starred in Broadway musicals for many years. They still have his promos for TNT's broadcasts of the L&O reruns. They make me feel so sad.

Glad to know he was on the right side. He and his wife were also major supporters of pet animals, thru the NYC Bide-a-Wee animal organization.

I once waited for an elevator with him in an NYC hospital, long before he became so ill. A regular guy, wearing jeans & a parka. I decided that he deserved his privacy and said nothing to him.
