So what did everyone think?

Is Nancy's drive to increase her business a good thing? Or is this going to get her into trouble? The penny situation is a bit scary...

I love the way her dealer (Conrad and mom) work to school Nancy on the ways of the weed world! Cracks me up, but it makes sense that she is so clueless--it just seems she sometimes forgets what she's doing is selling pot and not Tupperware. :shrug:

Anyway, anyone else--thoughts?

1. The penny thing is creepy

I finally got to watch it tonight and found out what you were referring to. I had never heard of cold pennies being used for vandalism like that before I saw the show.

I am just relieved that it wasn't the cops that were watching her through the binoculars.

She's kinda caught in the middle because her operating costs are going up. She's got to pay Lupita more. Randy's not going anywhere. Do you think it has to do with Lupita's friend's boyfriend or is this another dealer whose terrority she's going into?

I like the interaction between Conrad and Nancy. I wonder if it will turn romantic at some point.

on edit: For the past three weeks now I haven't seen Weeds at its regular time. I have to wait until it shows up on the "On Demand" selection.

2. I had never heard of that either...

such a weird development, and you're right, totally creepy.

See, I wondered if the reason Lupita was missing this week, had to do with her discovery this past week. :eyes: I really didn't like that part, either--Lupita going through EVERY INCH of the house looking for evidence. So not cool. It's not like Nancy is making SO MUCH money...

But yes, she's totally caught in the middle.

What is the DEAL with her bil, Randy?! OMG! So lazy, so wrong! At least he cooks and babysits, but so little help--then he tried his BEST to get in on Nancy's business.

I like Conrad a lot--that whole family. The mom doesn't get how clueless Nancy is about some things, but she seems to genuinely care for her--Conrad more so, though...

What did you think of our cancer patient's behaviour this week?:think: Seem's having mom there as a mirror, and undergoing surgery really mellowed her out! :applause: Good for her!

3. Celia's mom

At least we know where she got it. The breast cancer brought some humanity to her character. All of a sudden I understand why she's such a bitch. It has been a totally life changing event for her and it looks like she'll end up being a better person. I'm waiting for her to undergo chemo and need some pot to help with her nausea. You know Nancy will step up and help her out. Celia might end up liking to bake (muffins) afterall!

I liked that Randy got a taste of his own medicine - using people - with Max's mom. That was pretty funny. He also took a blow to his, er, ego pretty hard. I thought he was faking impotence at first but I guess he wasn't!

I do like Conrad's mom a lot. She's big, attractive and speaks her mind. I have to confess she reminds me of my mom. She's even got that "WTF" look that my mom used to give me. She does care a lot about Nancy but at the same time she's in business.

Every mother I knew, growing up, had that look! LOL!

I hadn't even considered that, but you bring up a possible plot line to consider. Celia having to get chemo and maybe turning to pot for it...

I liked the situation with Randy, too. The look on his face when she was yelling at him to smack her ass was just priceless! LOL! LOL!
