Nip/Tuck Season Three
I was such a dork. I taped last night instead of watching the first run and only taped for 60 minutes. It ran 90.

What I saw was fantastic. I thought it was great to see Christian coming out of his own inner torment to literally reach out and hold Momma Boone's hand. Yet the old Christian is obviously alive and kicking based on what I read of spoilers from the last scene. Good thing the premiere reruns on Friday.

I know people think dream sequences are kind of lame but so glad the scenes of Christian dead and the rest at his funeral were just Christian's dream. I know people think people don't mean it if they say they won't watch if a favorite character dies, well I really do mean it. Without Christian that show would be dead to me. So glad they didn't make me, have to make that choice.

Don't like Qentin Costas and know we are stuck with him for this season, but I hope they don't invite him back for next one. The show has enough characters and too many more "regulars" I feel will just detract from the quality of the depth of storytelling for the other exsisting characters.

Am anxious to see how this all plays out and can't wait to see who the Carver ends up to be. As long as it's not Christian and he is not a victim again I can live with it though. LOL.

2. I'm going to catch the repeat
I saw a few scenes while switching back and forth and what I saw was spectacular.

This is the best drama on TV and I'm not sure if it's even close. I wonder if they even have a time frame on revealing the Carver's identity?

Costas provides a new way of exploring Christian so in that way I'm glad they've brought him aboard. By the season's previews it looks like Matt is going to go through some interesting things.

Gonna be an edgy season, and I guess that's why we all watch.

4. Very edgy
and all the characters so multi dimensional and full of shades of grey.

It does look like Matt has some very strange days ahead. LOL.

Ryan Murphy said in an interview that we won't find out who the Carver is until episode 15 which is the last of the current season. He said he will end it with a close up of the Carver's face sans mask.

The actors are claiming none of them know who he has in mind and are all kind of nervous it might be them.

3. It was a great beginning
I say beginning because I too only watched the first part. I will tape it tomorrow to watch the last half of the show. I try to watch every week, but Tuesday nights are tough for me.

5. That's why I love cable dramas
because they repeat the shows enough so if you missed it first run you have several more opportunities to catch it. The only ones the networks do that with are the mega hits like Lost and CSI. Heard the ending of Nip/Tuck was really wild from some spoilers I've read.

6. Nip/Tuck 3-2 Kiki
Can Matt get any stranger? I have to confess I didn't enjoy this episode. That boy is just too weird for words. He was looking more like a Michael Jackson twin than ever, before he shaved his head that is. LOL.

I think he's going to need more help than a pot smoking grandma can give him.

Finally saw the end of the premeire and have to say I find myself in suprising agreement with the critics on this one. That scene with Kit, Kimber, and Christian did seem like it was added simply for shock value and nothing else.

I don't mind the shock stuff it actually can be quite entertaining when it adds to the story itself, but shock for shock's sake only wastes good story telling time and brings down the quality. JMHO. I had been enjoying the premeire up to that point. It seemed like that scene was thrown in because they hadn't had a requisite sex scene rather than as genuine contribution to the story.

Back to Kiki The only part I really liked was the interaction between Christian and Liz as an old Profiler fan.

7. Kicking into high gear.

Christian is about to become a Carver suspect, Sean is self-mutilating, Matt is a total mess! Julia, for crying out loud, is the most emotionally healthy person on the show!

The new guy sure is pretty. They might want to think about actually having him do something.

8. Whoa! The Carver is busy!
I swear I thought the reveal of the latest Carver victim was going to be Christian's newly discovered mother. I was a bit shocked to see Kit.

I love it, nonetheless.

Come on people, talk with me!

9. I think Costas is adorable.

Those EYES!

He used to be on that show "Jessie" a few years ago (with Christina Applegate) as her Latino boyfriend, and I had the subskinulars for him then.

I find Kit annoying yet strangely fascinating. And the Carver attacking the girl who sadly cut herself was brilliant.

Tonight's episode is just laying there for me, though.

10. A most well deserved kick after tonight's episode.
Wow.

Quite a headspinning ending for Julia!

I can't wait to see how the Carver thing with Christian's ex fiance is going to turn out.

This show is so fucking wild.
