Dinah Marler of Guiding Light and Damages Season 2

I was a Guiding Light devotee back in the day, late 80s, early 90s.

The first actress to play Dinah Marler was Paige Turco. In Damages Season 2 she played the wife of William Hurt's character. Then the son of Glenn Close's character shows up with a much older girlfrield played Wendy Moniz, the second actress to play Dinah Marler -- who I absolutely hated, by the way -- on Guiding Light back in the day. This was very weird to me. I'm wondering how many idiots other than me would notice this.

1. If I watched Damages, I would have noticed.

Back in the '80s, about 8 of us girls and a couple of guys were big fans and arranged our class schedules to watch in the dorm lounge. It was 1hour of so much fun. But I really, really liked Wendy Moniz as crazy Dinah with Frank Grillo as Hart - I'm watching him now in The Gates. Had to give up GL because I couldn't stand one more Reva madness nor that incredibly incestuous Tammy and Jonathan, among other seriously nauseating story lines. GL to me had the best theme songs. I'd been watching it since I was 8.
