Survivor 21 Ep 7: "What Goes Around, Comes Around" |
|
Well, that was confusing. I don't know why they didn't just go ahead and vote Marty out. Now he's in the merge with room to maneuver. Probably won't amount to anything, but he's shown a lot more willingness to strategize than Jill has.
Why couldn't they do the Reward Challenge in the ocean? That made no sense.
Good challenge for the Immunity. Team work and intelligence played a big role in that one.
Kelly S finally got her first confessional of the season, seven episodes in. She's the most invisible player in the history of the show right now.
I think the young players are doing well on both tribes, for the most part. The "minority alliance" was split up, but somehow cobbled together a majority on each tribe. Very well done. Now, let's see how they merge their disparate secondary alliances and establish a pecking order.
This is where Marty has a chance in the game. He can pull people who are the bottom of each sub-alliance together into an alliance that threatens the core of Chase, Brenda, Kelly S, and Na Oinka. I guess Ben is in there, too. Jane is a lost cause for some reason that the editors chose not to show us, but that just makes six out of twelve. It's unlikely, but Marty could pull the other six together and really cause some fireworks.
Probably won't happen, but still.

I was hoping it was his night to go.
I hated the way he spoke to Jane. I'm glad she did not tell him much.

I forgot, Sash is in the core, too. So that's 7-5. This will be a predictable post-merge, then.

3. I think you are right about the editing... |

something doesn't add up with Jane.
And then with Marty. If he kept the idol and played it, he would still be around one more week - the exact offer Sash made except now Marty doesn't have the idol!

I liked Jill, but she kind of fell apart after they did the tribe shakeup. It's like she had a single strategy, and then couldn't adjust to accommodate the change. She should never have given that idol to Marty.
Marty is an ass. I was so hoping he'd leave last night. It'll be interesting to see if Sash gives him back the idol like he said he would. I fully expected them to vote Marty out last night, so I'm not sure what's going on. I just wish Marty would be gone already.

Sash can keep the HII and still keep his word. He said he'd give the HII back to Marty if Espada won the next immunity challenge. Since they're merging next week, there is no Espada any more.

Did I miss something? How do you know they are merging? Was it on a preview or something that I just spaced out about?

Jeffrey said they were merging in the preview. Trust me, I'm as unspoiled as I can be, if it's not officially released by CBS, I manage to avoid it.

I Tivoed this and watched it with my husband. The preview did not record. It stopped right at that point. Usually I don't care.
I hate spoilers. I avoid all those websites that provide spoilers. I know you are pure. That is the only reason I open your threads.
