Survivor 21 Ep 12: "Not Sure Where I Stand"

Egads, the stupid, it burns! First Chase totally screws up by breaking his promise to Sash. Then Sash decides to ally with the three people who can beat him at F3 and boot off the three people he can beat.

WTF? :shrug:

I don't believe Sash has been sandbagging the challenges, just as I don't believe Jud has been going all out.

Jane got into full-blown Jan (Survivor Thailand) territory over that chicken. Weird. I still can't stand her. Did anyone else notice her moralizing about voting off Benry, Jud, and Dan? She didn't want to vote them off to further her place in the game. It was because they were going to have the gall to vote her off.

I can't stand her, I really can't. It's all personal and a morality play with her. Morals have no place in this game, nor does revenge. Play to advance your own position, no matter what (within the rules) it takes. JMO and YMMV, but it's a game, first and foremost and only.

1. I was just reminded of something

Last week, Jane was ready to eat the chicken when the other group was at the reward. So she's a hypocritical passive aggressive sort, too.

2. Jane

I love the old lady. She just lets it all hang out. She goes 100% and she makes me laugh. sure she is a hypocrite and a bit unstable about the chicken, but thats part of her charm. I think she is awesome.

Now, Chase's move last night will hurt him. Why he did not take Sash with him is beyond me. Each alliance should have decided before hand that if at all possible Sash would go with whichever one of them won and if others were allowed, so be it. Bad call Chase.

Now I think Dan may have pushed Sash back a bit with his poor way of speaking. So the damage was somewhat minimized. Benry should have told Sash that he was before Dan in his mind and that they would go to the final three.

Anyway, the removal of Benry sets up Chase well. But I see Sash floating around back and forth as it suits him. If Dan makes it to the finals, I am turning in my I Love Survivor card. I dislike him so much.

3. I have to question the producers' judgement.

Why is NaOnka allowed to sit on the jury and stand in judgement of her peers when she is
guilty of violating the rules? She admittedly stole personal items from her fellow players.

How cranky was he when he brought out the jury? Brenda, Marty, Alina and THE QUITTERS. I think he commented twice about quitting, just while they walked out. Yeow!

He sneered. It does make you wonder if there will be a rule change for the next season.

6. Sash grew up in the town I live in.

Never met the kid but I feel some level of support for the local guy. Tonight should be interesting to see if he really knows how to play the game. He needs to orchestrate a blind-side of either Jane or Chase. It won't be easy but he has the idol to do it with. I think he gets the chase and 2 women group to vote out Fabio. Then give Fabio the idol and have the 3 others vote for Chase or Jane (whomever doesn't have immunity from challenge).

Should be interesting.
