Will Media Inc suddenly have a change of heart and give him the full, respectful coverage his record and policies deserve?
I certainly don't think they will. I think they'll do to him and us exactly what they did last time.
Which means that unless some large fraction of the people who want to see him elected get off their chunks and start making him known in an organised way to the 97% of people who don't even own a clue-phone, then in 2008 there will once again be about 95% ignorance, 2% money, and maybe 5% votes tops. Nobody needs a crystal ball to see that coming.
(But I know that this reality is engraved on the inside of your forehead just as it is in mine, G, and that you only asked me pro-forma)

7. We are us, I suppose, and what do you think we should be doing now? |
|
I'm ready to listen! Problem #1 is getting Dennis nominated when the people in power within the party structure will want another "sure winner" like John Kerry. I think John Kerry should have won but maybe too many of us knew that he wasn't everything that we wanted in a candidate. I certainly supported him, including a lot of financial support, but I knew he wouldn't be the president I wanted, unless he changed a lot once in office. I knew he would be better than Bush** most of the time and that was sufficient, once he had the nomination sewed up. I now regret not writing in Dennis's name, especially as I'm in a "red" state, anyway. Party loyalty did no good and I'd at least know I'd voted for the one politician who has never yet disappointed me.
What's next for us Kuchies to do?

8. Read my posts in Genius's 'Now would be a good time' thread, here |

I'm proposing that we use the program model from industrial practice. It's used all over the world to create and bring to market complex products (and if getting Dennis elected President isn't a 'complex product', I can't imagine what would be ).
