I don't think there is any other video available (I asked), but I'm told the entire speech will be broadcast on NPR station WBUR this Sunday evening at 8 pm.

1. Thanks so much for this - it is a great vintage JK speech
It is interesting from this to see that the Boston Globe really cherry picked to pick out the most controversial things said. (Oddly doing just what Kerry was saying they do - making it sound like a partisan fight.) If this 10 minute excerpt is typical it is a fantastic speech on positive government/private sector interaction. That actually makes sense as this was a speech to the Chamber of Commerce and Kerry would not spend 45 minutes blasting Republicans.

Glad you asked on the entire speech - I wonder if it will be on CSPAN or if their is an internet live viewing of WBUR.

2. Sadly, that was all the video that was filmed
The battery ran out, from what I understand! Thankfully, we will be able to hear the entire speech because WBUR always broadcasts the audio of the Chamber of Commerce guest speeches on Sunday night but (they are a radio station) they don't do video and, as far as I know, CSPAN was not there, alas!

It has often been frustrating to me that more organizations (even wealthy, prestigious ones) don't film events and make them available online. I believe this will be more commonplace in the future, but so many are behind the curve. The guy I spoke to at the Chamber of Commerce really "gets" that concept, I think, and I admire that. Not only did he try to film the entire speech (that battery situation was unexpected!) but he put it up on Youtube within HOURS and he said they never mind if people embed their video in webpages. Very impressive attitude, IMO.

4. Well - as Kerry said about the event the day before being barely covered,

it wasn't Charlie Sheen trashing a hotel room. That is an excellent example of the media's misplace values.

It is good we will be able to hear the entire thing. It is great that he tried to film it and got what he captured up as quickly as he did.

The good thing is that - nice as it is to see the Senator - the audio is the important part. There is a listen live button on WBUR's site - http://www.wbur.org/ - so, if it's on, those of outside MA can hear it.
