Priest forgives attacker who stabbed him
Rev. Michael Massaro had just finished hearing confessions a bit after noon on Saturday when Josephine Gatchell stabbed him with a knife. Fortunately the knife missed his vital organs and he's recovering after surgery to close the wounds.

Massaro has already forgiven the woman and hopes she gets help. She definitely needs it, this was the second incident at that church with her, she had broken a statue at the church in January and claimed in both instances that Massaro was the anti-Christ.

1. AFAIC, Father Massaro is truly Christ-like
He truly is practicing what he preaches at the pulpit, an embodiment of Christ forgiving, and asking God the Father to forgive his attacker. She really didn't know what she was doing. This woman is apparently mentally ill and needs her brain to be healed, or at least the symptoms to be controlled.

Thank you, Fr. Massaro. You really restored our faith in the Lord. O8)
