Something I haven't seen elsewhere: instead of selecting 12 people to have their feet washed,
, the tradition at my parish is to issue an open invitation to the entire congregation. Generally about 20 or so people of all ages accept the invitation. Last night a young father brought his infant son up to have the baby's feet washed. That was the finest pro-life statement, ever!
