3. This whole summer has been highly disturbing.

Lots of death, lots of people getting cancer, lots of plain old messed up things. Back in '88 my friends and I just tuned into this hateful vibe that seemed to be in the air everywhere we went. Even on vacation, people were just giving off an angry, hateful vibe. I was 20 and fairly obnoxious myself (no, really), and people were making my friends and I look tame and refined. Between the people and the dominant music we were into we tagged it the "Summer of Hate". In the last 22 years I've never felt the urge to name another season, until this one..."Summer of Death".

Needless to say, I'm looking forward to Fall. x(
