I picked up a pamphlet for a free meds program in my doc's office |
|
and thought I would post it.
I don't know what the "catch" is. But the number is 1 888 477-2669
The program is called "Program for Prescription Assistance" and their site is www.pparx . org
Might be worth checking out.

1. I think that's the program Montel Williams has been promoting. |
|
If you follow the links, it directs to you to services in each state, or to each pharma co.'s website for assistance. I've known people who've used this service with success. Thanks for posting. :hi:

2. My grandmother is on it for non-mental health issues |
|
She only makes about 8K a year (with Social security) and meds are her bugabear since she's got glaucoma, type II, and digestive troubles that no one should be forced to hear about.
It's a not difficult program to get on, amazingly, at least in Florida.

3. Apparently a lot of pharmaceutical companies will also help people out. |
|
If there's a specific medication that you can't get, you can contact that company directly and see if they have their own program too.
