It reminds me of one of my favorite Spielberg touches in Jurassic Park, when the T-Rex was chasing them and the camera zoomed in on the mirror saying... well, you know.

4. Oh My God! A dinosaur!!
A friend of mine was driving in the Danakil depression and came upon an Ostrich. It stood there in the middle of the road and wouldn't move. He blew the horn and the Ostrich kicked the front of the jeep rupturing the radiator. If you know anything about Danakil, it is not a place to be stranded. Not only is the environment hostile, the Afar people can be rather hostile to outsiders.
