Visit to Arts School next door - new stuff

I was invited today to see this years "heads" exhibit. So I went and took a look.

4. University of North Carolina School of the Arts - Art/Design/Sculpture
It has a High School program for visual artists, dancers, musicians and actors.
To get into that one is very difficult, because it is completely free incl. room and board.

These HEADS are a project the Juniors do in their first year. I remember it when my son did it, and my grandson also. They were the first ever father and son to be in the Visual Arts program since its beginnings.

The photo below is of a project the Seniors did last year. Each student created one square and then they set it together. My grandson Ivan's is the third from the left bottom row.

6. They surely are. I was invited by the teacher
who had taken the photographs. She showed me the camera. A point and shoot with no frills. I was floored!
