The submissions were singularly wonderful, and i may well not be alone in thinking others were more worthy than the bird butt,

(though it IS cute, and only you guys know what it feels like to arrive home, download, and find an unexpected gem)

Many favorites did not make the finals. The variety was also impressive, considering a narrow theme.

I could not find the winner's announcements in GD, i wanted to post the bird portrait after he turned, so here it is then for just us.
