2. The geometry of the tile, the light from the door,
and the reflection on the stools don't need color to tell their story.

The exterior shot didn't need color because color wasn't the story.

With the color shots I was playing it straight. I kept editorializing to the minimum.

5. It's a real memory trip. Parkette much better than the impersonal
industrial food-like offerings from McDonalds. The family owned establishments give you consistency you don't get at the fast food joints like McD's. Sure the food at McD's is consistent, but the humans behind the counter continually changes. Go into Pancake Pantry in Nashville, and Paula is there. Go back a month later, and there's Paula. She doesn't follow a script, she doesn't wear a paper hat. She knows your name and that you really like the western omelette. She might even sign your cast.

6. In black and white, the stools look liquid.

7. *BIG GASP* I truly liked
the diner photos that you posted before but Alfredo . . . WOW! I am in total awe of this set. Yes, the chairs do look liquid, and in addition, the perspective of your fist photo, my eye is drawn all through the diner, picking up every detail, the napkins/holder, the couple, the baby, the lamps, the posters, etc., then takes me right out the door.
