"Circles" I will probably use one of these
Perhaps I will find something I like better before the weekend. It's been a rough week, planning for a trip :bounce: and dealing with a dying cat . But these are my contenders. Comments welcome.

Ageing in oak.

Garden reflections

More garden balls

At the museum

Natural wonders

1. here's my vote:
2 or 4
with a little more weight to 4

i find this a really hard contest to have a photo that is interesting

i thought i had it, and my grandson panned it as boring

yours are not boring, especially number four

2. Thanks!
I'm gravitating to 1 and 4. Maybe I like the wine barrels because it was such a fun family outing. I have a couple more days. I haven't had a chance to shoot anything because of my being sick and now my kitty being sick so it has to come from my folders. Sigh.

3. I like 1, 2, and 4 best.
I'm so sorry about your cat!

I really like the casks.

4. For me
Number 2
Number 4
Number 1

But not much separates them, particularly 2 and 4. What I love about two is the way that the reflection completes the circle. I tried to get a shot like that once, and it didn't work very well. But, number 4 looks pretty arty and good.

Number 1 is one of those really fun, good photos, but still third best (to me).

6. If you're looking for votes,
my favorite is "At the Museum." A very and interesting and balanced shot.

8. Number
4 is awesome. It has so many different circles, all different sizes and it just forces you
to seek them out.

I am so sorry to hear your cat isn't doing well. That is always so sad.

this note is written to express hope for your cat. Or for you having the serenity to accept what is happening.
Thinking about you!

10. Thanks Mira.
It's been a rough week. Unless there is some very positive change by tomorrow we will have to say good bye on Friday. The vet is pretty sure he has bone marrow cancer. The only way to definitively diagnose it is to anesthetize him and go in and get some bone marrow to biopsy. It's extreme and expensive and there really isn't any treatment. So on the very slim chance that it's something else the vet put him on some hormone and prednisone to stimulate blood cell production. The chances are pretty slim it will work but it was simple so worth the extra couple of days. We were all set to say good bye yesterday but he's hanging in there and took his first few bites of food in a week this afternoon.

The timing is terrible. We are leaving the country on Saturday.

11. My heart goes out to you!
Take small steps at at time so you don't get overwhelmed.
And concentrate on the good times you had together, and the happy life he had when things were good!
You'll be in my thoughts!
