The contest began on March 1, 2011 and will run end on December 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM EST.

2. I don't know but I know the talent is here to do so.

That's a great photo and could be used for both People and Travel.

I'm pretty sure you can enter a photo in more than one category, as well as enter several photos across all categories.

I adore this photograph, knew which it was before I scrolled down. It's a forever keeper to be proud of. Enter it across the board.

(for the rest of you, we Germans have a saying: "Even a blind hen sometimes finds an acorn." I'm sure there is an English equivalent, but it doesn't come to me right now)

5. You take excellent pictures. I'm betting the majority of the entries are from

amateurs. You could do it.
