Some backlit images. Not sure which ones to use.
The newest image is the first image. What that means is that I am not bored with it yet. The ground level dandies still seem OK with me, especially the B&W. I want to take more, but there's no sun today. Maybe tomorrow.

2. What Saphire said. The first one leads the pack for me.
I like the last one as well.
Second favorite is the diner. But that's not one I think that would get a lot of votes, for what that opinion is worth...
LOVE the first one.

3. That's the one I will probably go with. I've been doing a lot
of photos where I can't see what I am shooting. This is one example of that technique. The earlier Columbine was also a blind shot.

I do themes to challenge my mind. Right now I am thinking that reality is dependent on scale. When I get my new camera, I will invest in a macro lens. I want to do street photography inspired macro. The Dandelion images was the first example of that direction. That patch of lawn out front is something's neighborhood. Hoping to use some other elements to take it beyond nature photography. Hoping to add humor and social commentary.

26. I've been using my macro
Although, I'm going to try some blind shots with my point and shoot, inspired by my accidental shots at the B of A tax protest day.

27. I am hoping to find a good macro lens when I go mirror-less.
As it is now, the Canon G10 does a good job at closeups. Until then, I work with what I have.

28. Here's a couple that turned out reasonably well
Just held the camera under the Japanese maple or down at ground level for the Diogenes lantern and hoped for the best.

14. I made a vow, sometime last week,
to not have so many opinions. After this time, I'll keep the vow.
THIS one is my favorite.
I would lose the trees by cropping up just across the top of them, so they're gone.
And then, if at all possible, I'd get rid of the leaf.
PERFECT.

saw this one. Like Mira I would crop out the trees but unlike her I would keep the leaf.

Since I am being contrary and had to see.....

You decide. Thinking I would like to see the trees cloned out so you could keep it a rectangular photo instead of square. I'll go:hide: now.

Edited to add- I still love your ice on the branches. That will always be a winner to me.

22. I like the brach because of the central vein, and that it echoes
the petals of the flower. I kept the trees in because they anchor the flower to the earth and give some scale.

23. The trees do anchor it
and give it scale where as I went toward the surreal feeling of it. It is a wonderful shot and was fun to play with on my end, hoping you don't mind. I have weeks before I get to have a chance at any of my own unless I go buying flowers from a florist.
