autumn photos from the Tennessee River

I was there recently. The leaves weren't fabulous, but I got a couple of interesting photos.

I like the way the cypress trees change color.



This is the autumn pelican migration. No feeding frenzy or anything, and this was in water too shallow to get any closer, so no peak experience for us like the reverse of this in the spring.

1. Happy to see photos from you

and very happy to see birds in one of them. Which i like, of course, but OH that first one is splendid. The background of the trees is what I love the most, like Jackson Pollock, or a Persian carpet fantasy. The Cypress sets it off very nicely.
