1. Your work always has a freedom that appeals to me.

I work in hyper neatness (on the rare times I still draw), and my work is almost always planned out ahead of time down to the tiny details. It takes a lot of the fun out of doing it for me. I should try your approach, it looks more fun. :)

2. I never plan art anymore

because
a it never comes out like I plan
b however it comes out it looks like somebody else painted ( almost alien hand syndrome) I feel no connection to the work if I don't sweat my ass off, ruin my clothes, and a floor rug, get covered with either paint of pastel. I basically have to go through labor, and my art, when done right in my mind, is my baby. (even as I right this it makes no sense......but I'm gonna leave it as is)

I do however have immense respect for those who can create like you, details, and planned and just right. I have tried and failed, but every now and then I try again.

Give my approach just one night....I'd love to see what you come up with, but I am betting it wouldn't be as satisfying as your art from your heart, planned and perfect, it you!
