1. Great job
and I'll bet it made your head spin, how fast those things went in. The color is perfect for a quick sale. Everyone will be able to see their own color scheme in that kitchen with that neutral counter.

I rather liked the pink, but it would have sworn heavily with my hunter green linens and orange Le Creuset (think the Irish flag) and would have been a consideration were I bidding on your house.

It's always wise to keep the place as neutral as possible when you're selling, I think. You never know when a prospective buyer is a sucker for purple. Or fuchsia. Or lime green.

3. I'm missing the pink because .......
... cuz I'm that kinda guy :)

That looks so much better! I'll bet your pleased with the change.

One thing about these 'designed to sell' ideas ...... when you do them, you don't wanna leave anymore!

4. I like it
It's that bland neutral that buyers are told that they should like. Personally though, I like something a little less blah. But, I'd buy that! It looks great!

7. Your kitchen looks like a mirror image of mine!
Except (and I was just washing dishes and was wishing I had one) for the nifty sink faucet (are they easy to install?)

I even used to have that oven/stove, but now I have gas (always preferred gas).

I have a creepy story about that oven, though -- the alarm used to go off during the middle of the night, not always at exactly the same time, but always in the middle of the night! I swear that house was haunted. I finally solved the problem by actually disconnecting the sound thingy in the back.

11. they aren't bad if your plumbing is in fairly good shape
and I don't know how I lived without that soap dispensor

I just love it!

I'm really looking forward to having a gas stove again in the new place and my stove has been a jewel the whole time I've had it, but I can see how that would freak you out LOL

12. It looks perfect!
You've got the basics up there. The things we all use on a regular basis. So people will walk in and see how those kinds of things each have a convenient place with room to spare for slicing and dicing.

Your cabinets look good because the counters have a more coordinated color. Both are earth tones neutrals. So I think they complement each other and feel like a natural fit.

It must feel so nice to be on track like this!

13. I'd think a picture or three on the walls, and maybe a potholder where
you had them in the 'before' shot, above would make it look less like a showroom kinda thing. I know the designed to sell show suggests you de-personalize, but come on .... I like to look at houses that show at least a tad of who lives there.

14. there will be a cobalt blue towel hangin next to the window on the
left side of the cabinets and there is a ton of art in the rest of the room, but I do have a nice Georgia OKeefe in a white frame that may look nice on the right of the window

thanks I'll try that!

15. It looks fresh and nice. I notice one thing...
The outlets and switches appear to be beige, but the covers are white in most, but not all, cases. I think I'd change ALL of the covers to match the outlets & switches to be more coodinated and finished looking. Because of the beige counter, they will match it well. Covers are about 75 cents to a buck apeice, and a cinch to install.

I think it will look neater.
