Does anyone else have a love/hate relationship

with the .NET 2.0 Login Controls?

I just spent the better part of 2 days customizing the CreateUserWizard to suit my needs.

I hate it when I read happy little articles on the Web about how to use various controls.

Especially when they finish with a perky exclamation point ("That is all there is to it!" etc.)

Invariably I have to customize them to suit my needs and the hair-pulling begins.

Then my project manager wonders why it takes so long when ".NET has a built in control for that."

- yea, right.

I'm calling it quits for the day.
