Has anyone seen those eHarmony commercials?

Has anyone noticed that ALL the couples are white, non-ethnic, non-interracial? They don't even have a black or hispanic couple. It bugs the shit out of me. :rant:

1. Yeah, I noticed that too...

A former friend of mine and her husband were filmed for a commercial for Match.com. She's a former stripper who is really screwed up as far as personal values go (really a people user). He's a multi-level marketer. But they're white, so I guess that makes them a great success story! :rofl:

2. Not just in that commercial

but in general. Check out the restaurant commercial (Outback, I think) with the 3 young ladies at the table (2 white girls, a blonde and a brunette, and 1 black girl) staring dreamy-eyed at their waiters, who were matched by appearance to each young lady.

Even IRL, if someone wants to play matchmaker (the gods forbid! :puke: ), I'm always a black guy first. One recent incident ("I know someone that you should meet!") I'm introduced to a 6'1" amazon, and I'm a 5'9" soccer player. She looked as unenthused as I was. (You're both black, you should get along! :crazy: ) Fortunately, that was in passing and not a blind date.

This is supposed to be the 21st Century, but attitudes are still 19th Century. I'd like NOT to be considered just a black guy.

I noticed that when I emailed their support staff, the link gave me the domain democraticmatch.com. They must have added the new domain. I wonder if they are going to use that as their primary name now?
