Just heard the "real story" from "Mrs. Noah"!

Went to a District United Methodist Women annual meeting, and we were honored to have visiting "Mrs. Noah". She was kind enough to speak to us...once she was finally able to complete the journey from the back of the room to the stage, that is.

Her story was quite interesting. She filled in a lot of the gaps, what with the scriptures all having been written from a man's point of view. I wasn't able to stay for the end and speak with her after the closing Worship Service, (had to get on and off of Rte. 1 before the Patriots' traffic reached the area)or I would have asked her why they couldn't have at least swatted the two mosquitoes.

It was a great program. Why, she talked about her realtives all the way back to Adam and Eve! It was a HOOT!

I've always imagined it was Bambi, or something like that.

I mentioned that to one of my tablemates. Evidently, her first name is Mrs....She sure didn't look like a Bambi :silly:
