Question about Eminem's Encore CD |
|
I borrowed a copy from the local library and a lot of the "bad words" are cencored off the CD. Is that the way it was recorded?

1. It's probably the "clean" version... |
|
especially in hip-hop, it's typical to have "Clean" and "Standard" versions of an album.

Not even at Wal-Mart.
If there are two versions of an album, the second one is a DualDisc.
We like everything to be dirty as possible up here.

3. I bought The Bloodhound Gang's "Hooray for Boobies" at Wal-Mart |
|
like a moran. It was simply titled "Hooray". I didn't know the difference at the time because it was a new release. I got it home and half the damn thing was edited out. I went back to the store and had to argue with Customer Service for almost 10 minutes to get them to refund my money. Their reasoning was that I "should know that all their CD's are edited". Needless to say, I have since cut my Wal-Mart shopping down to a couple emergencies a year or less, and I'll never buy any media there again.
