I get to go to Corpus Christi! |
|
Granted, it's for work, and I don't know when. But I will be working outside in a tidal flat area on the bay. I've never been to Texas outside an airport before.
Hold on, let me wipe the drool off the keyboard...
Even if I only get to do incidental birdwatching while I work, the potential list of life birds for me gives me the jitters...

2. BTW, I have had a longstanding fantasy about the |
|
simple questions you could ask a candidate in a job interview to determine if they are a true bird nerd.
high on the list would be "would you rather go to Guam or Brownsville for 6 months starting in January?"
a close second would be "would you rather go to Guam or Attu for a month?"

4. Thanks, I'll check back in when I know when I'm going. |
|
I've already downloaded a checklist for the area, which has me jittery in anticipation.

Is very good.
Has locations and what to look for.
ps Don't drive in the sand in a 2wd car.
