Just a little tax day humor.

I jogged (even though I said I wasn't going to) for 2.0 miles, then went into the weight room for abs and upper body.

1. Not for a few weeks... :(
I've got a problem with my achilles tendon - hurts like heck when I first get up & then sporadically through the day. It hurts just to walk - I tried one Tae Kwon Do class last week & didn't make it too far into it. But, I finally have my doc appt on Monday, hopefully I'll find out if it is tendonitis or if it is an injury! Taking it easy to prevent doing permanent damage is killing me!!!

2. I'm no doctor but
it sounds like something I've dealt with--plantar fasciitis. The identifying feature is how much it hurts to get up after you've been sitting for a while.

There are some stretches that can help, but see your doctor.

7. I agree - that's what it could be
I developed plantar fasciitis after breaking my foot eight years ago. Sometimes it really bothers me, but I can usually stretch it out with yoga postures, particularly downward-facing dog. That tendon pain is just the worst, though - I'm sorry for anyone dealing with that. :(

10. :) Went to the doc yesterday...
Preliminary diagnosis - achilles tendonitis. :(

Going for x-ray first (thank to insurance!), then MRI to rule out any actual injury...

3. I ran 2 miles yesterday afternoon
All went well. I decided to stop worrying about my time since I'm recovering from what I believe was shin splints.

I'll go cycling this weekend. Think i'll try to push it up from 11 miles to either 13 or 16.

5. 12.4 miles on my bike.
And the ride is 15 miles on SUNDAY so I feel like I'm ready. (Glad I cleared that up before I showed up tomorrow morning!) ;)

6. Leg day (pretty bad)
Some pretty sad squats, some pretty good calf raises, some pretty sad deadlifts (I think I've realized what I'm doing wrong), and then a set of leg lifts.

Not too good, but still...

8. I had a good Pilates session last night
I tried several new exercises and also upped the weight on some of my work on the reformer.

I haven't been able to run much lately, because I'm still battling asthma and bronchial issues. I've only been running once in the past week and I felt pretty lousy afterward. :(

9. I took the day off Friday -- has been a while - now a report on Saturday:
biceps triceps abs and 30 mins on that elliptical thing.
