Wednesday, 7/27: I worked out today--did you?

Wednesday, 7/27: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang!

I jogged 2.0 miles today and then went into the weight room for my upper body stuff. I added one set of 10 on each of the machines I use (so today I did 4 sets of 10). I also added some weight on the lat pulldown machine and the shoulder press machine. I have a feeling I'm going to have sore shoulders tomorrow.


How are you guys making out today?

1. I did aerobic video, lower body weights & yoga.
Really pushed myself on the lower body. I am sure I will be hurting tomorrow.

2. Yep
Two miles on the "ecology trail". Lots of big trees down from Saturday's storm, a couple of them across the trail. Saw a Doe and her two fawns about 50 yards away, they were grazing in the tall grass...I think the nature types call it "browse".

Didn't see my favorite wise, old Barred Owl. Wonder if he's found another hunting area.

4. Two mile walk/run
Over the past couple of days I have improved the distance that I can run at one time. I'm now up to 3/16 of a mile that I can run without resting. I ran a total of 5/8 of a mile of the 2 miles.

That 15 years of smoking really has made things difficult during my cardio workout. But it's been 6 days since I've smoked and I'm not turning back. I know things will get better with time and persistence.

10. i just finished
35 minutes of intensive cardio and then 15 minutes of abs and stretching each.

Will be all kinds of hurting tomorrow.
