It's 8/9. I had an excellent workout today. Did you? |

I lifted weights today and I increased the weight that I workout with on 5 of the 12 exercises that I do. I'm feeling pumped up! Thanks to LastKnight for figuring up what I should be benching. I increased my workout bench press 20 pounds today to 140. I'm going to do that for about a week and then see if I can't move it up 10 pounds. After the weights I did a 1 mile walk.
I've lost about 7 pounds since I started working out and dieting, but I wasn't really noticing it until I looked in the mirror at my profile. Despite not losing much weight I can start to see a difference in the way that my body is shaped. My chest now sticks out nearly as far as my belly. This probably due to a combination of putting on muscle in my chest and losing some fat around my belly.

I worked out this morning as well. Kick boxing, pilates & yoga. Will do my tai-chi at lunch.
