Tuesday, 9/13: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang!

I jogged 3 miles this morning, and then went into the strenght equipment room and did the pec machine, the leg adductor, the chest press, the shoulder press, and some ab work.

My run seemed slow this morning...

How about you folks....?

1. Deadlifts
5X155, 5X205, 5X225, 5X235, 5X205
I've been adding 10# per week, see how long I can keep that up and still do 5 reps

2. Just got back from the gym.
30 minutes cardio, chest presses, leg presses, lats, some balance work and some flexibility.

Later I'm going to do some yoga.

Edited on Tue Sep-13-05 01:19 PM by chimpsrsmarter
i have no running water in my house right now so no shower. My daughter reminded me it's only a day without water, "Think about the people in NO Mom" so then i promptly shut my mouth.

Nevermind, i fixed, now i will go work out.

7. Just got back from the gym!
I worked on my shoulders, did some ab work, then 30 minutes on the elliptical.

I need a shower, I'm stinky. :P

9. Arm day - but my eye is killing me!
I have a Dr. appointment today (Wed) so hopefully he can do something about it.

Good arm day yesterday (Tues), but my eye kept distracting me. I wish I could get to the gym today, but it's not gonna happen.

:(

10. Endorphins are my salvation.
My goal is to ride my bike every day. 1 1/2 hours of pretty strenuous activity. 1700 feet of climbing. 15 miles.

I've been having depression. It's a lot of things. Not the least of which I will be 50 in several months. The way this country has gone, makes me wish I didn't live here. And it's been a hell of a lot longer than since bush took the controls. I'm talking mid 80's. That's a long time to be upset.

So I ride. And thanks for posting your question. You gave me the chance to voice a little bit about me.

PS- DU and music are also on my list of lifesavers. :)
