Friday 11/4: I worked out today--did you? |

:hi: good morning!
I jogged 3 miles this morning, outside (which of course is the best way to do it).
Then I worked in the weight room. Per the instructions of the trainer that did my fitness assessment yesterday, I upped the weight on my machines, did fewer sets w/ higher reps. (For example on the shoulder press I went from 25 lbs. to 30 lbs. and instead of 3 sets of 10, I did 2 sets of 12.) So I worked the chest press, the shoulder press, the leg adductor, the leg abductor. I also added 2 new machines to my routine: the dip/chin and the abdominal "nitro".
I feel like a million dollars today. There's nothing like a sunrise run. Nothing.

Last night was my first time climbing in the gym in 5 weeks. I'm very sore this AM but the Yoga helped stretch things out.
