I'm going to need to see a podiatrist. I saw one last year for pain after long runs, and paid a small fortune for inserts for my shoes. Now, the pain is back, and fairly constant whether I exercise or not.
I'm concerned that a bunion may be the problem. I know for sure I have a bunion, but now I wonder if the bunion isn't causing more problems than just a bump on the side of my foot. It looks like the big toe is starting to lean in towards the other toes, and I wonder if that pressure isn't causing the pain at the base of my toes.
Of course I need the doctor to figure this out.
The problem is that now that I'm in pretty constant pain, getting aerobic exercise is a bit of an issue. I'll try the rowing maching tomorrow and see how that goes. Jogging, the StairMaster, and the elliptical are all problematic.

I've been battling plantar fascitis for more than a year and plantar warts for a couple of months. Having once run 30+ miles per week, I'm not happy to be hobbled like this. See someone soon. Best wishes.
