May the doctor have something good to say tomorrow...

Especially when I could walk 2 miles on blacktop without a problem on Saturday.

1. You could benefit by doing some stretching
Edited on Fri Jun-15-07 10:27 PM by Lost-in-FL
I have a bad knee and back and doing stretching with emphasis on both areas has done wonders, the discomfort is way less. I do my stretching twice a week. I also take supplements (Collagen, Glucosamine w Chondroitin and MSM). My problem is the stationary bicycle, I couldn't go on for more than 5 minutes before I get a sharp pain in my knee. Since stretching and the supplements I have done 15 to 25 minutes in the bike and I am now able to use resistance.

2. Strengtening your leg muscles and tendons
Will help your knees. But ask your doctor what kind of strength training you should do. I had trouble on the eliptical at first with my knees too.
