I joined a Masters swim club |
|
and I absolutely love it. Nothing beats the sensuous pleasure of the water. I emerge from the pool refreshed.
I go for coached swims 3x per week: Tue. and Thur. evening and Sat. morning. The coach is bringing us newcomers up to speed at a comfortable pace. I feel it in all the right places but I'm not in pain. And the stronger a swimmer I am, the better a surfer I can become.
If running or the gym doesn't work for you, I highly recommend the joy of swimming. And no, "how you look in a swimsuit" is not a reason to NOT consider it :-)

1. I don't even have a swimsuit! |
|
And I never learned how to swim.
My husband is a swimmer. He loves it. Running has ruined his ankles, so swimming is a nice relief.

2. Oh, it hurts so much less than running |
|
And you come out of the pool all fresh!
